FeesThe application fee for registration as a trade marks attorney is $150. Following registration as a trade marks attorney an annual registration fee of $250 is payable on 1 July each year. A renewal notice is sent to all registered attorneys by no later than 1 June each year. Where the fee is not paid within 14 days of 1 July the Designated Manager is required to remove the attorney's name from the register and advise the attorney of the removal. To restore a name removed for non-payment, the attorney must pay the registration fee together with the fee applicable under Regulation 20.9 of the Trade Marks Regulations 1995 or within 6 weeks or further time allowed by the Designated Manager. The address for the renewal notice will be the current address shown on the Register of Trade Marks Attorneys [Regulations 20.7 of the Trade Marks Regulations 1995].
